MasterTuning provides ECU remapping services for vehicles. Prices refer to the electronic work only.

Warranty

Lifetime warranty on the software. MasterTuning warrants the software it installs for the life of the vehicle: should the file prove faulty, or should a manufacturer update overwrite it, the centre that carried out the work will restore or correct it at no extra cost.

The warranty covers the software, not the engine. Remapping changes the operating parameters held in the ECU and does not touch any mechanical component. No MasterTuning warranty extends to the engine, the transmission, the turbocharger or any other part of the vehicle. Modifying the software may also void the manufacturer's warranty, and the customer is informed of this before the work begins.

On a vehicle in good condition and regularly serviced, work on the software does not normally have mechanical consequences. This is why the centre checks the state of the vehicle before proceeding, and may decline the work where it finds wear, leaks, stored fault codes or neglected maintenance: that protects the customer before it protects us.

Should any problem arise, contact the centre that carried out the work straight away.

Liability

The customer must tell us about any modification already made to the vehicle. MasterTuning is not liable for damage arising from incomplete information.
